Our Activated Organic Live Trail Mix is a nutritious and delicious spicy snack. With a combination of peanuts, sprouted seeds and sultanas, it’s full to the brim with a variety of nutrients, minerals, vitamins and healthy oils and fats. Our Bombay style Trail Mix has a subtle spiced flavour, reminiscent of scents and aromas of the bustling food bazaars of India.
Most raw nuts and seeds contain enzyme inhibitors and phytic acid, which the body struggles to digest. Through a process of soaking in water and hand harvested sea salt, a technique that reflects the right environmental conditions for germination to begin, and has been used by civilisations for centuries, the enzyme inhibitors and phytic acid are greatly reduced or completely eliminated. This process unlocks the nut or seeds full potential by releasing healthy enzymes, making it easier for the body to digest and allowing the nutrients contained within to be fully absorbed by the body. After activating the nut, we then use a slow dehydration process which enhances the flavour and adds an extra crunch.
